Sekolah Cita Persada (SCP) was established with its noble purpose of sharing the light in Indonesia by educating the minds of the young children and molding them into individuals who will excel not only academically but with strong character qualities. SCP started to receive its first students of the Primary level in 2006 while offering Indonesian’s national curriculum enriched with the Singaporean methods of education. In the subsequent educational process, SCP introduced the eclectic methods of education, which combined the Concept-Based Approach along with the Project-Based Approach.
Sekolah Cita Persada (SCP) didirikan dengan tujuan mulia yaitu menjadi terang bagi bangsa Indonesia, dengan mendidik pikiran anak-anak muda dan membentuk mereka menjadi individu yang berprestasi baik secara akademis maupun karakter yang kuat. SCP mulai menerima siswa pertama tingkat Sekolah Dasar pada tahun 2006 dengan menawarkan kurikulum nasional Indonesia yang diperkaya dengan metode pendidikan Singapura. Dalam proses pendidikan selanjutnya, SCP memperkenalkan metode pendidikan eklektik, yang menggabungkan Pendekatan Berbasis Konsep bersama dengan Pendekatan Berbasis Proyek.
At the beginning of 2009, SCP Preschool and Kindergarten was introduced to the public following the decision to terminate the franchise of Cambridge Child Development Center from Singapore. The main reason was because of the intention to introduce the new Creative Curriculum from the United States which combined with the Reggio Emilia Project-Based Approach. In that same year, SCP had also established an informal partnership with Rivervale Primary School, Singapore to add values for the service which provided the opportunities for the students to visit our partner school in Singapore. Also, SCP Primary had been chosen as the examination center for Young Learners English Tests in that same year.
Di awal tahun 2009, SCP Preschool and Kindergarten diperkenalkan ke publik menyusul keputusan untuk menghentikan franchise Cambridge Child Development Centre dari Singapura. Alasan utamanya adalah karena niat untuk memperkenalkan Kurikulum Kreatif baru dari Amerika Serikat yang dipadukan dengan Pendekatan Berbasis Proyek Reggio Emilia. Di tahun yang sama, SCP juga menjalin kemitraan informal dengan Rivervale Primary School, Singapura untuk menambah nilai layanan serta memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengunjungi sekolah mitra kami di Singapura. Selain itu, Sekolah Dasar SCP telah dipilih sebagai pusat ujian untuk Tes Bahasa Inggris Pelajar Muda di tahun yang sama.

Realizing the importance of abiding with Indonesia’s government standard, SCP Primary and Kindergarten pursued to acquire accreditation from the government. Finally, SCP Kindergarten and SCP Primary received “A” Accreditation from Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah on October 21, 2012. This had been the significant evidence of the continuous effort of SCP to aim for the best and give the best quality of education to its students. We also emphasized the importance of partnering with parents and introduced our Home-Visit Program for its SCP Preschool and Kindergarten.
Menyadari pentingnya mematuhi standar pemerintah Indonesia, Sekolah Dasar dan Taman Kanak-Kanak SCP mengupayakan mendapatkan akreditasi dari pemerintah. Akhirnya, TK dan SD SCP mendapatkan Akreditasi “A” dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah pada tanggal 21 Oktober 2012. Hal ini menjadi bukti signifikan dari upaya berkelanjutan SCP untuk memberikan kualitas pendidikan terbaik bagi para siswanya. Kami juga menekankan pentingnya bermitra dengan orang tua dengan memperkenalkan Program Kunjungan Rumah bagi siswa TK SCP.
SCP Secondary was opened on June 2013 to answer the demands for higher education for the children in Cinere, Depok area. SCP Secondary had also offered various exciting programs to prepare the students for the challenges of the 21st century. The students are exposed to acquire learning skills such as innovative, creative thinking, problem solving, and global minded.
SMP SCP dibuka pada bulan Juni 2013 untuk menjawab tuntutan pendidikan tinggi bagi anak-anak di Cinere, Depok. SMP SCP juga menawarkan berbagai program menarik dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Para siswa diajar untuk memperoleh keterampilan belajar dalam hal inovasi, berpikir kreatif, pemecahan masalah, dan berpikiran global.
On July 8, 2014, SCP Primary had been authorized as Cambridge Centre with ID 331 which allowed the school to officially offered a prestige international curriculum from UK. Subsequently, SCP Primary received its SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) status as required by the Government of Indonesian on May 2015 which allowed SCP Primary to officially offer the combination of the national curriculum along with the international curriculum.
Pada 8 Juli 2014, SD SCP telah disahkan sebagai Cambridge Centre dengan ID 331 yang memungkinkan sekolah secara resmi menawarkan kurikulum internasional dari Inggris. Selanjutnya, SD SCP menerima status SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) sesuai dengan ketentuan Pemerintah Indonesia pada Mei 2015. Hal ini memungkinkan SD SCP untuk secara resmi menawarkan perpaduan kurikulum nasional dengan kurikulum internasional.
